GALLERY MANAGER– IRIS GALERIE HONG KONG

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Gallery Manager to lead operations. Energetic, entrepreneurial, and customer-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Your Mission :

As Gallery Manager, you are the ambassador of the IRIS Galerie brand and the leader of your gallery team. You are responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving commercial performance, operational excellence, and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Performance & Sales Leadership

• Drive gallery turnover and ensure the achievement of monthly sales targets.

• Monitor and improve KPI (key performance indicators) including: Conversion Rate , Average Transaction Value (APT), Units Per Transaction (UPT) , Productivity per hour...

• Lead by example on the sales floor and maintain a strong personal sales contribution.

• Coach the team on sales techniques, storytelling, upselling, and objection handling.

• Identify opportunities to maximize revenue and improve product mix performance, including wall art and jewelry sales.

Customer Experience

• Deliver an exceptional and memorable customer journey from welcome to artwork collection.

• Ensure every guest receives a premium and personalized experience

• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.

Team Management & Development

• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop gallery team members.

• Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews.

• Create action plans to improve individual and team performance.

• Foster a positive, energetic, and high-performance team culture.

• Organize schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels according to business needs.

Gallery Operations

• Ensure flawless execution of opening and closing procedures.

• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and gallery presentation.

• Manage stock levels, inventories, consumables, and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures

• Prepare operational reports and communicate performance updates to regional management.

Photography & Production Operations

• Manage photoshoot sessions and final artwork production.

• Ensure equipment and shooting tools are maintained and fully operational.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of management experience in retail, hospitality, luxury, lifestyle, or customer experience industries.

• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing KPIs.

• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for customer experience and premium service.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Comfortable working with both Mac and PC environments and standard office software.

• Ability to adapt quickly and perform in a dynamic and evolving business environment.

Languages

• Fluent English is mandatory.

• Cantonese and Mandarin are highly desirable.
